Today is JACC
I am at the Journalism Association of Community Colleges Norcal Convention at SJSU. Right now I am in the Music Building listening to San Francisco Chronicle reporter Lance Williams deliver the keynote. He is talking about the Balco Drug Use coverup story and why we need a Federal Shield law for reporters. The book, Game of Shadows, co-written by Williams and  Mark Fainanu-Wada has attracted worldwide attention, and an 18-month prison sentence for the writers for refusing to name confidential sources.
